Settled. was established to help families navigate these important moments with confidence. We believe thoughtful preparation can ease future burdens, and that no family should have to face uncertainty simply because important information was left unorganised or the next steps were unclear.

The Story Behind Settled

Veronica Teo

Founder & Principal Consultant

Having spent much of her career in complex financial and administrative environments involving families with cross-border interests, Veronica Teo developed a deep appreciation for the practical challenges that arise when assets, institutions, jurisdictions, and family circumstances intersect. Her experience spans markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia, giving her first-hand insight into the complexities that families can face across borders.

Throughout her career, Veronica observed that while many people devote considerable effort to building and preserving wealth, far fewer prepare for how it will one day be transferred. When a loved one passes away, families are often left navigating unfamiliar processes, extensive documentation, multiple institutions, and important decisions — all during one of life's most difficult moments.

That understanding became deeply personal when Veronica experienced the complexities of settling a family estate herself. Despite her professional background, she realised that what families often need most is not simply access to professional services, but the clarity, preparation, and confidence to understand what lies ahead and make informed decisions at each stage.

That experience inspired the creation of Settled. Today, Veronica helps individuals and families prepare for the future through Legacy Mapping — encouraging meaningful conversations, thoughtful organisation, and greater preparedness long before it is ever needed. Through Settled., she also provides structured estate administration guidance and preparation support, helping executors and families better understand Singapore's estate administration process, prepare commonly required documentation, and plan ahead before engaging lawyers, financial institutions, and other relevant organisations.

Recognising that every family's circumstances are unique, Settled. works alongside a trusted network of probate lawyers, tax advisers, financial institutions, and other specialist professionals, helping clients connect with the appropriate expertise whenever specialist advice is required.
